Back in my earlier years I had so many questions about guitar sounds, gear amps and effects and nobody had the answers, so I decided to do research myself.
Reading a lot of manuals, talking to fellow musicians and in musicstores, trying to get hold of all the information I could get my hands on. Without Internet at that time 🙂
I read all kinds of manuals even about organs! Haha
In 1976 I built my first pedalboard. Fresh was the Maestro fuzz with wheels on the side and my MXR phaser. Even built my own guitar, a Gibson explorer look-alike. I had my home made fuzz pedal and I even remember the Article from a dutch electronics magazine: Elektuur Dec 1968.
Now almost 50 years later, I’m still reading and listening and talking to friends and people I meet and to new customers about their ideas and wishes.
I like to hear everything, even the smallest things, because you never know when it might come in handy.
This website is meant to inspire you to make your own dream rig!
Sincerely, Paul Lenders
