In the 1980’s it was very common to put your gear in a 19 inch flightcase/ Rack.
They even had a name for the 10U Rack space Or Less…… a girlie Rack 🙂
It was more for the touring guys to keep everything in good working order.
Midi Remote controlled loops and Multi Snakes were often used.
And.. they looked cool!
Nowadays it is still there, but more for the big shots or enthusiastic gear freaks.
The Pedalboards are hip and good to carry, but on big tours it is not always handy
They still want everything on wheels!
I’m still a fan of big racks! Let me know if you want to go back in time, but with the benefits and gear we use nowadays!
